Boyd Exell at the 2008 four-in-hand World Championships

Nicola Turner, EFA National Office, Sunday, 7 September 2008 Australian Boyd Exell finished 3rd at the CAI Beesd (NED) World four-in-hand Championships.
History was created yesterday when the Australian anthem was played for the very first time at a World Four-in-hand Championship.
Boyd Exell won the cone driving phase after a thrilling drive off of three double clear rounds. Boyd secured the Bronze medal in the individual placing. This is the highest placing for an Australian and the first time an Australian has been on the podium in the history of World four-in-hand Championships.
