Stuart and Watermark Grayson finish almost 20 penalties ahead of 2nd placed Kate Wood (NZL) at the Manukau Puhinui CCI3* (NZL).

Stuart was the only Australian to take a horse from Australia over to the event (Aussie Bella Mowbray who is currently based in New Zealand was competing in the CCI2*). Of the 5 competitors in the CCI3* only Stuart and Kate Wood jumped clear on the cross-country. Regardless of the small field Stuart and Watermark Grayson put in a top-class performance finishing on their very respectable dressage score of 48.70.

“The horse was great in all phases, the cross-country was very tough,” said Stuart’s wife Karen “He did his best all weekend and we were thrilled with him as was Sarah [Ingham, owner of Watermark Grayson].”
