New FEI Registration Fee introduced for horses and riders
The 2005 FEI General Assembly approved an annual FEI registration for ALL riders/drivers/vaulters and horses competing in FEI events, to come into effect from 2006. See also FEI Bulletin No. 5/2005.
This registration was introduced for Eventing riders and horses in 2003. The FEI has expanded the FEI registration requirements to include ALL of the other Disciplines, which are: Dressage, Reining, Jumping, Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Paraequestrian. The system will continue for Eventing.
The registration requirement will take effect on 01 January 2006. Registrations need to be renewed every calendar year. Fees are $20.00 for each horse and $20.00 per rider per calendar year.

Please note that this registration is required even if the horse has an FEI Passport or EFA National Identification Document. All horses and riders must be registered with the FEI BEFORE competing in any FEI competitions from 2006.
