Australia Podiums at FEI Eventing Nations Cup in Arville

Australia has secured a podium finish at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup CCIO4*-S in Arville, Belgium, placing third among 11 competing nations in a fiercely contested fourth leg of the 2025 series.

The picturesque Arville venue provided a demanding test across all three phases, with Germany and the USA battling for top honours. Germany ultimately claimed victory on 104.1 penalties, narrowly ahead of the USA on 112.7. Australia delivered consistent performances to finish third with a team score of 131.0.

The Australian quartet of Kevin McNab (Faro Imp), Olivia Barton (APH Sodoku), Isabel English (Cil Dara Bombay S), and Grace Kay (Bluefields For Cello) demonstrated grit and depth across the competition.

Kevin McNab and Faro Imp were the standout performers, finishing 7th individually on 35.3 penalties from over 100 starters. After producing a dressage score of 28.5, the pair added 5.6 time penalties on cross country before delivering a superb jumping round, finishing with just 1.2 time faults.

Olivia Barton and APH Sodoku rose through the leaderboard with a clear round on the final day to finish 22nd on 47.8 penalties.

Isabel English and Cil Dara Bombay S were close behind in 23rd on 47.9, adding just a rail and time in the final phase.

Grace Kay and Bluefields For Cello completed on 80.0 to place 56th, gaining valuable international experience.
