Excellence on Display at the Australian Dressage Championships

The 2025 Australian Dressage Championships concluded at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre after four days of outstanding competition that reflected the depth of Australia’s Dressage talent. From seasoned international performers to emerging Young Riders, the event showcased the precision, harmony and athleticism that define the sport.

At the top of the leaderboard, Jayden Brown once again demonstrated why he is among Australia’s most accomplished Dressage riders. With Quincy B, Jayden claimed the FEI Big Tour Championship and with D’Esperanza, the Reserve Big Tour title.

Another standout of the event was Matthew Lord, whose elegant performances with Remi Vigneron earned them the FEI Medium Tour Championship.

In the youth divisions, Jessica Dertell and Tia Rose McKenzie continued to make their mark as riders of exceptional promise. Jessica and Kilimanjaro captured the FEI Under 25 Freestyle, while Tia Rose and Phenomenon impressed in the FEI Young Rider Freestyle. These Young Riders are a promising sign for the future of Australian Dressage.

The championships also celebrated excellence across all levels, with Matthew Dowsley and Bradgate Park Delaney taking both the Medium and Advanced Championships, Harvey Besley and Birk van de Vosjes crowned Novice Champions, and Danielle Keogh and Gomez S leading the way in the Pony divisions.

Boneo Park is set to host the Championships in 2026, and anticipation is already building for another showcase of AustralDressage at its finest.
