Exciting results for Australian Dressage Riders in Europe in the lead up to WEG

With 165 days until the World Equestrian Games, some of Australia's internationally based dressage riders have achieved promising placings and percentages at the weekend's World Dressage Masters CDI Vidauban in France.

WEG Elite Squad combination, Lyndal Oatley and Sandro Boy scored 70.6% in the 5* Grand Prix and 72.925% in the 5* Grand Prix Freestyle resulting in a 6th placing in each test.

Kristy Oatley and Brianna Burgess also finished strongly in the CDI3*. Kristy and Louisa 34 placed 6th in the Grand Prix with 66.36%, and 4th in the Grand Prix Special with 67.549%. Kristy’s second ride in the class, Ronan also produced good results with 66.22% putting them in 8th place in the Grand Prix and 6th place with 70.8% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.  

Briana Burgess also produced positive results with La Scala placing 4th in the Grand Prix with 68.1% and 8th in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 69.225%.  

Locally there were some exciting new faces at Grand Prix level with Judy Dierks and Feramo H scoring 71.567% and Katharine Farrell in her first Grand Prix with Luxor on 68.933% at the Clarendon (NSW) event.
