New National Vaulting Committee Elected
A new EFA National Vaulting Committee has been elected.
The Committee was elected by a selection panel, consisting of one member from each of the three State Branch Vaulting Committees and Geoff Sinclair, representing the EFA Board, met recently by teleconference and considered all nominations carefully.
The EFA Vaulting Committee agreed at its October 2007 meeting to follow governance "best practice" and move from a state-representational to a "skills-based" committee model.
National Committee Members are bound to act in the interests of the sport as a whole, regardless of their state of residence or membership.
The National Vaulting Committee members are:
Greg Blunden - Chairman
John Lowe
Tony Richardson
Melanie Fedrick
Michael Winwood
Krystle Lander remains the Vaulters’ Representative for the time being until the new committee determines their preferred method of electing the next Vaulters’ Representative and have received approval for the new method from the EFA.
The NVC Members including the Vaulters’ Representative appointed Greg Blunden as the Chairman by majority vote.
Congratulations to all the Committee Members.
