The Copabella Classic – a great weekend of jumping
The 2008 Copabella Classic enjoyed a record number of entries, fine weather and a sizeable crowd. The Princess Anne arena is always a lovely venue for this boutique show. Vicki Roycroft won the Copabella Grand Prix aboard Infatuation, second place went to Chris Chugg and Vivant. Amanda Madigan was victorious in the Studibaker Miniprix riding TP Gifted and Hayley Coman was second on Just Lately. The Oaks Sport Horses Amateur Final was won by Rebecca Seckold riding Cool Customer who finished ahead of Lauren Harthog on KP Ceborano. A fast round secured first place in the Magic Millions Young Rider Final for Hilary Scott riding Oaks Miss Scarlett and Greer Butcher and Eliza Jane finished in second place. Monique Barrett won the EFA Junior Final aboard the clever little Snowy River Ginger Meggs leaving Olivia Hamood in second place aboard Donegal Top Deck.
