2008 World Equestrian Mounted Games Championships 23-26 Oct

The 2008 World Equestrian Mounted Games Championships is being hosted for the first time on Sydney’s Northern Beaches at Pittwater Rugby Park.

With fourteen countries competing from from the 23 to 26 October it promises to be an exciting spectacle of galloping horses and furious competition. To coincide with this, an amazing festival with a huge array of activities have been organised.

A Country Music Spectacular featuring Travis Collins and Amber Lawrence will be held on Thursday 23rd from 5.00 - 10.00pm to herald the Opening of the Games.

The Bush to Beach Expo will run for the 3 days with 80 stalls showcasing a wide range of Australian products, handmade goods and crafts, equestrian products and local businesses. There will be Pony Rides, the Mechanical Bull, the Mechanical Surfboard and an amazing Reptile display. You will even be able to learn to plait your own Stockwhip!

We are running a Skills arena within the Expo area which will feature Blacksmithing, Whipcracking, Medieval Sword fighting & a range of continual entertainment. The spectacular Knights of Nova Hollandia will have a Jousting competition in full armour in the main arena and the Australian Stock Horse Society will perform a choreographed ride. The Australian Tentpegging Association will thrill you with their skills and the Belrose Country Music Club will entertain with lunchtime Country music in the Courtyard over the 3 days

All this for only $10 per adult, $5 per child or $20 per family of 4!
