Expressions of Interest to host the 2009 National Jumping Championships

The Australian Jumping Championships are the pinnacle event for Australian Jumping riders. The EA are interested in seeing the highest-possible standards of event organisation, so we are calling for EOI for organisers interested in conducting the event in 2009 and/or applying for a 3 year contract to conduct the event in 2009/2010/2011.
Applicants should provide the information listed below. This is best provided on the attached Expressions Of Interest form.
Please provide information for the following:
· Evidence that you and your organising committee have conducted a successful major show previously. In other words, give details of your last show, including the types of activities and events conducted during the show, the number of spectators, etc., addressing similar points to those below.
· The planned dates for the Championships.
· The program of classes you intend to conduct.
· The prize money you intend to offer for classes on the program.
· The number of spectators you expect for the final day and also for the other days.
· Expected media coverage (newspaper, radio, television).
· Expected sponsorship of this event.
· How you will promote the Championships (advertisements, “editorial” in newspapers, radio promotion, posters, etc.).
· Other reasons why you should be awarded the rights to stage an Australian Championships.
· Details of the venue (rings/arenas, stables, other facilities).
