Megan and Jester win HSBC FEI Sydney World Cup qualifier
Megan Jones and Kirby Park Irish Jester have won the HSBC FEI Sydney Eventing World Cup qualifier. It was a difficult show jumping course held in the indoor arena today for the CIC3*-W. Megan and Jester had a lead of 13.2 penalties going into the show jumping and they had the last fence down which was good enough to claim their second HSBC FEI World Cup qualifier in 2009. Georgia Clifford and It's Monty jumped a clear round to retain second place. Stuart Tinney and Vettori finished in third place with a very stylish clear round. Megan Jones and Kirby Park Allofasudden finished fourth with one rail. Emma Scott and Mustang moved up to fifth place with one rail and Olivia Bunn and GV Bullwinkle had a disappointing 4 rails to slip down just one place to finish sixth. Congratulations to all placegetters and well done to the organising committee and sponsors for a fabulous event. See the Sydney Eventing web for full results.
