Magic Millions - Sporthorse entries extended to 15th June

Magic Millions company and the Sporthorse Sale committee have undertaken to extend the closing of entries for this inaugural sale to Monday 15th June. Due to the timing of some key competitions, the decision has been made to extend the closing of entries to ensure all sellers have the opportunity to complete their entries.
This also allows time to conduct an important workshop which will cover all aspects of this new initiative, give the opportunity for interested stakeholders to provide input, outline the selection process and answer questions about the sale.
Magic Millions recognizes the importance of this sale for the equestrian industry, and that it is a new concept for many sellers – the workshop enables interested parties to provide input into the development of this important initiative, ask questions about how the Magic Millions sporthorse auction process works, and understand how to best prepare and present horses for this sale.

The workshop will cover and invite discussion on the following:
1. How the Auction works - the auction make-up with emphasis on developing a creditable and professional market place for equestrian horses as an alternative to pre-existing methods that have been and continue to be extremely successful.
2. How to entice a quality catalogue without collecting all the horses that can’t be sold by pre-existing methods.
3. Selling horses at auction - how to best prepare and present horses for this process.
4. How to attract buyers from both domestic and international market.
5. Viewing & Performance days schedule – running the viewing and performance days
6. Stabling at MM complex and Gold Coast polo club
7. Inspection Day at the sales complex
8. Stallion Parade @ 12Noon Saturday
9. Sale Process – setting Reserve prices
