Call for Nominations for Elected Director roles

The Organisation

Equestrian Australia Limited ACN 077 455 755 (EA) is the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) and peak body for the administration of equestrian sport in Australia.

The commitment to success is encouraged at every level of the sport and is reflected in world-class results at Olympic and Paralympic level. To date, Australian equestrians have won 9 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze medals at the Olympic & Paralympic Games and multiple medals at World Championships. As a result, Australia has earned the reputation as an elite equestrian nation.

A big part of this success is the tireless commitment and excellence shown by our sport’s administrators, coaches, officials, volunteers, owners and our athletes of all ages performing at all levels as well as the importance placed on sportsmanship and the welfare of horses.

With around 200,000 Australians participating in equestrian sport each year and over 20,000 Participating Members, EA recently released its Nationally Aligned Strategic Plan with the strategic foundations in place to drive increased participation and steer our sport through these next 10 Golden Years to Brisbane 2032 and beyond.

EA is committed to exceeding the Australian Sports Commission’s Sport Governance Standards and being recognised as a leading NSO in terms of governance, financial and risk management, transparency and accountability; and is led by a diverse and talented skills-based Board of Directors.
