APVMA Warning on buying natural horse products:

A natural horse product may claim to provide a therapeutic benefit but if it’s not registered with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) it may not be safe or perform as claimed.

All products that fit the legislative definition of a veterinary chemical product need to be registered or otherwise authorised by the APVMA.

Always look for the APVMA approval number on the packaging before buying or using any veterinary chemical product on your horse.
