Candidates with a PCA Coaching Qualification can get part recognition towards an EA Coaching Qualification.
Step 1:
Before you get started you need to ensure you have the following :
- Current EA membership
- First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Working With Children Check
Step 2:
Contact an EA Coach Educator via the EA Coach Search to arrange an appointment. If you need help with using the coach search, click HERE.
Step 3:
Present a copy of your PCA Coaching certificate and any proficiency certificates you have to your Coach Educator.
Step 4:
Your Coach Educator will verify the components of the EA Introductory Coaching course that you have already completed and will sign off these components with a note approving the RPL.
Step 5:
You will need to be assessed by a Coach Educator on the gap requirements. Additionally you will also need to attend an EA Coach Familiarisation session and demonstrate coaching in the EA format to EA required standards.
Step 6:
Once the final assessment slip has been completed you will need to submit the Education order resource form to the National office. You will receive a certificate of completion and will be permitted to register as an EA accredited coach. If you need help to fill in the form, click HERE.
