Created in 1926, the CHI Geneva is one of the world’s most prestigious equestrian competitions. Each year, Palexpo, welcomes the very best riders and drivers of the planet on the biggest indoor arena (5'300m2). In 2017, the event will take place from 7 to 10 of December.
Voted seven times the Best Indoor Competition by the Année Hippique, the CHI Geneva is part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping alongside the CHIO Aachen (GER) and the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ (CAN).
The Concours Hippique International de Genève hosted two World Cup Finales (1996 and 2010) as well as twelve finales of the Top 10 Rolex IJRC and the Champions' Challenge©. The CHI Geneva also hosts the World Cup Driving every year. In 2016, Dressage made its come back to Palexpo after having been away for 15 years. The CHI Geneva integrates the World Dressage Masters.
Each year, 700 highly motivated volunteers bring the event to life and welcome 41’000 spectators over the four days.
