Jennifer Annetts & Castlebar Contraband

Jenny has been riding horses since she was 8 years old starting out at Glen Innes Pony Club. She then moved onto Jamboree level, excelling at dressage and flat work events. Jenny realised her real love was working with her horses to complete long distance competitions. Jenny finished her first 160km event the day after her thirteenth birthday. Her WEG mount Castlebar Contraband is owned by 2002 Jerez World Equestrian Games bronze medal winner, Margaret Wade. Margaret Wade also won the 2008 Australian National Championships, the Tom Quilty 160km on his mother China Doll. In 2005 Jenny was 10th in the individual World Young Riders in Bahrain.
