Maree Tomkinson & Diamantina 4

Maree is a former show rider and made the switch from hacking to dressage in 2002 after countless Champion Lady rider and Champion Hack awards. Maree also won the prestigious Garryowen Perpetual trophy on two occasions. After competing in her first Grand Prix class in 2007 Tomkinson travelled to Europe to gain international competition experience. Diamantina was purchased as a four year old in Germany and went on to represent Australia at the World Young Horse Championships in 2007 and 2008 finishing in the final on both occasions. Since 2008 Diamantina has been based in Australia. Tomkinson was awarded Equestrian Australia’s domestic athlete of the year award in 2012.
