Arena surface upgrade at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC), in Horsley Park, NSW, is undergoing an exciting upgrade to the surface of Arena 5 and 6 to ensure the centre remains a premier riding facility.

The project will ensure a consistent and even riding surface, improve the orthopaedic health of horses, and ensure NSW athletes have access to the best practice conditions in preparations for World Championships and Olympic games.

The upgrade includes installation of a sub-surface water system, rubber cushioning and a riding surface that incorporates fine sand, geotextile and fibre additives.

The project is due for completion in January 2018.
