Aussie riders dominate Camphire International Horse Trials (IRL)

Australia's eventing riders have dominated over the weekend and leading the way was Olympian Chris Burton who impressed spectators and judges at Ireland’s Camphire International Horse Trials, setting a world record for the best CCI2* dressage score. Burton and his horse Santano II re-wrote the record books scoring 24.5 which is the lowest score at a 3 day event in the world! Finishing first with Santano, he also rode Cooley Lands to second place with a final score of 38.1. To complete these never-seen-results, he led the CIC3* from the start and won it with Nobilis 18 finishing on 47.1 penalties.

Cheers also for the couple Emma Dougall and Kevin McNab, each of them taking first and second place respectively in the CCI1* on Fernhill Tabasco with 41.9 and on Tomgar Hugo Boss with 43.3 penalties.
