Celebrating 60 years of Eventing at Sydney International Horse Trials 2017
The Sydney International Horse Trials will celebrate 6o years in May.
60 years ago, Neale Lavis and his mount Benalong were awarded the Three-Day Horse Trial Trophy at Australia’s first three-day event and that moment marked the beginning of what is now a proud tradition. Today, the Sydney International Horse Trials are a major fixture on the annual national eventing calendar.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the event the achievements of Australia’s eventing champions past and present will be honoured. And also this year, the Sydney International Horse Trials will be tailor-made specifically for eventing fans and stage eventing classes only.
Scheduled classes for 2017 program include:
- CCI3*, CCI2*, CCI1*
- CIC3*, CIC2*, CIC1*
- EvA105
- Young Event Horse (4,5,6yo)
