Edwina Tops-Alexander & Old Chap Tame

Edwina tops the field in Doha

Edwina Tops- Alexander and her 12 year old stallion Old Chap Tame have won the CSI4* World Cup Grand Prix in Doha (Qatar).

Tops-Alexander and Old Chap Tame were one of eleven combinations to enter the jump off, together they showed their class producing a clear and fast round which took them to victory.

“I am really happy. It is always a moment of joy,” Edwina said. “I did as much as I could. The horse jumped amazing and it all worked out well.”

“I am super happy, yes,” she said. “I won the Grand Prix three years ago in Doha. I have been here many times”.

Edwina and Old Chap Tame also found success earlier in the competition, with a 2nd placing in the CSI3*World Cup after producing a double clear round.

Edwina also pocketed over $60,000(AUD) in prize money for her win, the text stop for Tops-Alexander is an indoor event at Basel (Switzerland).
