Finance & Business Operations Manager

Equestrian Australia (EA) is one of Australia’s leading national sporting organisations with a history of Olympic and Paralympic success.

Working closely with the CEO, you will be instrumental in shaping the business operations of EA and playing a lead role in the financial management to enable the long term sustainability of operations.

In this pivotal role, you will lead major projects and be capable of undertaking financial modelling to evaluate risk and return. You will be equally comfortable working across finance, risk management, information technology, governance, operations and human resources.  Your skill and service ethic, will enable continual process improvement to best position the EA team to support our members.

CA or CPA qualified, you will be financially adept and fanatical about detail and accuracy. You will provide high level strategic advice with an eye on the future and be willing to roll your sleeves up to delve into operational activities.

With the proven ability to review operational and financial processes, you will be well-placed to develop and drive best practice within our business. You will be hands-on in your management of finances and ready to produce monthly and annual reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, key stakeholder reporting and internal practices.

You will be team-focused and driven to deliver quality outcomes. Your prowess in managing multiple priorities for a diverse range of stakeholders will be key to your success. Your well-developed interpersonal skills will mean you are adept in liaising with volunteers, colleagues, management, stakeholders, service providers and Board members.
