Measuring and Medication Control Programs review
Two of Equestrian Australia's official education programs, the Medication Control Steward and EA Measurer are currently being updated.
The Measuring program and the Medication Control Steward program were both introduced in 2005.
Recently working groups made up of Branch Measurers and Branch Medication Control Officers were formed to evaluate the programs. Their role is to identify how the two courses can be improved to ensure all requirements are met in the roles needed to run equestrian competitions.
These working parties will be assisting the National Office ensure the courses are up to standard in all respects. Current accredited Medication Control Stewards and Measurers will be informed of updating requirements and opportunities as they are brought into line with all other coaches and officials.
If you would like to get more information on becoming a Medication Control Steward or Measurer, please contact your State Branch or the National Office to be put in touch with the appropriate member.
