World Cup Competitors

Please note that there have been a number of significant changes to the Australian World Cup Rules that have come into force on 1^st July 2018.

These Australian rule changes have been adopted to;

1. Comply with changing FEI rules.
2. To simplify compliance and reduce costs for Organising Committees.
3. To provide clarity and consistency for competitors.
4. To ensure the ongoing financial viability of the Australian FEI World Cup Committee

A quick summary of the major changes are:

3.3.1 -  New requirement as to allowable Articles and their inclusion in Schedule.

3.3.1  - If an Art 273 then twelve horses or all clear rounds will be invited back

3.3.3 - Top cups should be 20mm.

3.3.4 – Outdoor classes should be at 375mpm

5.1 -  Horses must be stabled on the ground by 12 midday on the day prior to the competition.

5.2 -  Allocated stables must have No Entry sign displayed

5.3 -  Horse must have bridle numbers attached at any time when not in the stables.

5.4 -  There must be an FEI steward to oversee this

5.5 - Trot-up before 9am on the day of the competition

6.4 -  Increase in start levy to $100 per horse.

7 -  Change in distribution of the levy to winning riders.

7.3 – Rookie of the year.

8 – Change in subsidies for those participating in World Cup Final

9 - Update on qualifications for Assistant Course designer and President of the Ground Jury.
