The stage is set for the highlight of the Australian Show Horse Calendar

For three days at the end of this week, the indoor arena at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) will be transformed into a Show Horse wonderland and host the top show horses and riders from around the country at the 2023 EA Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships - known as 'The Nationals'. Following on from last year's highly successful event, this is the second year of a three year contract where 'The Nationals' will be held in NSW.

This years' event, once again generously sponsored by Hygain, will host 203 riders and 247 horses who have qualified over the year at their respective State Horse of The Year (HOTY) shows will compete over a jam-packed programme encompassing 36 classes. In addition to these classes, on Friday night the arena will be filled with beutifully turned out horses and handlers for the the much anticipated Fashions on the Field event to be judged this year by Neil Carpenter and Belinda Scanlon.

Visit www.showhorsenationals.org.au for more event information and if you are in the area, spectator entry is free and you are welcome to come in and enjoy the elegance and get some Christmas shopping in at the Trade Village.
