Susan Hoevenaars appointed for WEG

Australia’s Susan Hoevenaars is honoured to have been named as one of seven members appointed to the ground jury for Dressage at the FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Tryon, USA next September.

“It’s great for Australia and our sport,” Hoevenaars said.

It‘s the second time she has been selected for a WEG Ground Jury.

“It’s  always a great honour to be selected as one of the  top judges in the world and it proves that we have a good basis for the judging system and without that I wouldn’t be where I am.”

She’s looking forward to being part of Tryon 2018 that is being staged at the stunning facility in North Carolina.

“Tryon is a fantastic venue, it seems unbelievable,” she said.

Equestrian Australia’s Pathway Manager - Officials Di Saunders, said it was a wonderful achievement for Susan.

“She has had an amazing schedule of judging over the past few months and has been a ground jury member and judged in Japan, Sweden, Netherlands, UK and Germany including major events like Aachen,” Saunders said.

“Her appointment at WEG is recognition for us that our officials pathways systems are working well.”

The FEI has also confirmed the list of Officials for WEG 2018 which can be found here http://inside.fei.org/fei/fei-weg/2018.
