WEG 2018 Endurance Test Event moved to April 2018

The OC of the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 have been working extremely hard on preparations for next year’s event. The venue is on target for the completion of all sports facilities by the end of this year and accommodation and ticketing information will be available shortly.

We were targeting completion of the sports facilities by the end of September 2017 in time for the first Test Events in October, however this preparation has been delayed by some construction issues at the Vaulting and Endurance venues, which are now close to being resolved.

We are committed to producing world class events and these delays mean that the sites for the Endurance Vet Gate and Vaulting will not be in a condition that we believe would deliver a useful experience as Test Events. We understand that this will mean a reorganization for some NFs and we apologize for this, but we truly believe that this is in the best interest of all stakeholders to ensure that everyone’s preparation for the Games is at the very highest level.

As a result, the Endurance Test Event will now be rescheduled to April 2018. The Vaulting Test Event will also be moved to Spring 2018. Exact dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
