Willinga Park to host 2017 ‘Dressage by the Sea’ an event showcasing some of Australia’s best dressage riders and local South Coast food and wine

Dressage riders across the country are being invited to the newly established Willinga Park to take part in ‘Dressage by the Sea’, the first internationally recognised dressage competition at arguably the Country’s best equine facility.

‘Dressage by the Sea’ will be held over four days from Thursday 28th September through to Sunday 1st October 2017, encompassing CDI 2*, under 25, young rider and junior events. A number of national level classes will also be available to showcase the facilities.

Set in Bawley Point on the South Coast of New South Wales, the event will attract riders, judges and spectators from across the country in what is expected to be an event not to be missed.

Willinga Park owner Terry Snow said “events such as these are vital to foster the talent in this country and showcase the equestrian discipline. We are thrilled to be able to combine that with the opportunity to show what the South Coast has to offer with amazing local produce, and treat everybody to a fantastic couple of days”.

Spectators will be treated to the best the South Coast has to offer with local produce, including fresh seafood and local wines. The four-day event will include something for everyone. Enjoy a seafood lunch with a front row seat at the finals or a more casual experience with a hamper in the grandstands or breathtaking gardens.

Riders will be treated to the best equestrian facilities on offer, including the Soiltex arena surfaces that utilise an ‘ebb and flow’ design. Events will take place in both the huge indoor arena and outdoor dressage arenas flanked with grandstands and viewing areas.
