Announcing the Australian team for the FEI World Equestrian Games 2014

Australian athletes will be among 1,000 riders, drivers and vaulters from 74 nations at the FEI World Equestrian Games which get underway in Normandy, France 8 days from now.

Equestrian Australia has today published on its website its complete list of teams as well as the support staff that will assist the athletes (click HERE).

For the furthest afar athletes the journey to France is underway with Australian based eventing horses now in the UK having made the trip last week. Many of Australia’s teams will spend the week leading into the event attending pre-Games staging camps where they’ll be given an opportunity to work with specialist coaches. Teams will progressively start to arrive in Caen prior to the Games opening ceremony on 23 August.
