Briana Burgess and La Scala
Burgess withdraws from Deauville Nomination Event
Unfortunate news out of France with Brianna Burgess withdrawing from the second Australian dressage nomination event for the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG).
La Scala has been deemed unfit to compete.
Burgess is the youngest member of Australia's long-list for dressage for WEG 2014 and was one of five riders due to start in the Deauville CDI3* Grand Prix later today.
La Scala will undergo further veterinary assessments in the coming days.
