Equestrian Australia Special General Meeting

Equestrian Australia has been requested by Equestrian New South Wales (ENSW) and Equestrian Queensland (EQld) to hold a Special General Meeting in relation to the Hendra motion that was passed at the recent Special General Meeting of ENSW.  

In accordance with Section 15.2 of the EA Constitution, the EA Board will call a Special General Meeting on Sunday 19 April at 1.00pm (AEST).

The Special General Meeting will discuss the one motion put forward by ENSW and EQLD:

That Equestrian Australia Limited immediately cease all action in relation to the introduction of any mandatory Hendra Vaccination Policy in respect of horses competing, or involved, in any event, competition or activity in Australia over which Equestrian Australia Limited or any of its Branches has jurisdiction and the Board of Equestrian Australia Limited be directed to cease all considerations relating to the introduction of a mandatory Hendra Vaccination Policy and to withdraw/repeal the Hendra Vaccination By-Law made by the Board of Equestrian Australia Limited.

The Special General Meeting will be attended by EA's shareholders, those being the state branches.
