Kentucky Equine Research's FREE resources for you!

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) are proud to be the preferred feed, nutrition and education supplier of Equestrian Australia. 

One of KER’s missions is to help convert the latest research and scientific information on equine nutrition and exercise physiology into useful information for all horse owners.  We work with all owners, breeders, trainers, coaches, professional riders and vets to develop a nutritional plan for optimal health and performance of their horses.

Free resources

KER have a number of free resources available to all horse owners and professionals.  Did you know we offer the following?

  • Free nutrition consultation service – qualified equine nutrition advisors are available to analyze your horse’s current ration, tweak the ration to make it economical and optimize performance, offer general nutrition advice and help troubleshoot for those horses who are tricky to feed or require special diets.   • KER research library and Equinews – stay up to date with the latest research and scientific advances by signing up to Equinews and receive regular newsletters and competitions.
  • KER Facebook page and website – interact with KER and our global partners through our Facebook page.  Check us out regularly to receive the latest nutrition information, promotions and competitions in your area!
  • Online Microsteed – our online, interactive, diet analysis software which allows you to investigate your horse’s nutritional requirements and how these can be met through our team member products.  All you have to do is answer a few questions to describe your horse, select a team member feed and you will see if your horse is meeting all its requirements.  You can even leave messages for our qualified nutrition advisors to discuss with you.

   

 

Also, the free KER ClockIT App

KER ClockIt Sport, the app, with the help of an onboard heart rate monitor and Bluetooth technology, records heart rate, speed, distance and altitude.  KER ClockIt enables you to gather real time data on an individual horse’s workload and use that information to make feeding recommendations, as well as being a valuable tool for trainers and riders to measure their horse’s training intensity and compare it to other similar horses.  The app is invaluable to trainers and coaches, as the data can be sent from the smartphone to other users of the app.
