Vocal crowd lifts Hanna's spirits

Mary Hanna returned to the FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 main arena on Wednesday to compete in the Grand Prix Special.

Having scored 70.929 in the Grand Prix, Hanna and Sancette were given a second opportunity to compete in front of the enthusiastic crowd which was full of Australian supporters. The combination finished with a pleasing score of 69.314.

There appears to be no slowing down for the Australian team veteran and she confirmed that her sights are firmly set on the 2016 Rio Olympics and beyond. Following her test the 59 year old declared, "I've done 4, 4, 4! Four Olympics, four WEG’s & four World Cups. I'm planning to make it 5, 5, 5!"
