Warren Kennaugh seminar open to all EA members

All EA members are invited to attend a Warren Kennaugh seminar on Wednesday 20th May in Sydney. 

This seminar will be held in conjuction with the Coach Educator/ SSTA workshop but is open to all EA members. This is a great professional development opportunity.

Who is Warren Kennaugh ?

Warren is a Behavioural Strategist specialising in the development of elite athlete capability. Within his role he is responsible for the assessment, design and implementation of development and coaching programs for elite athletes and coaches within high profile sports. Warren has conducted over 14,000 hours of design and development with elite individuals. Examples of projects which he has led include elite coach coaching, advanced leadership, athlete profiling for performance, personal planning, team building, individual athlete review and debrief & understanding generation Y.

Warren links pragmatic acumen with proven strategies to enable coaches and athletes to excel in today’s sporting world. Warren’s areas of expertise includes: leveraging athlete’s personality strengths; identifying sporting, career and personal derailers; accurate prediction of behaviours and outcomes; coaching of the coach / athlete relationship, and accelerating high potential performance through feedback and behaviour modification.

Since 1996 Warren has had involvement at the elite levels of Rugby Union, Golf, Cricket, Equestrian and Rugby League. During that time he has worked with coaches of the ARU Wallabies (preparing the team for the 2007 & 2011 World Cup), Super Rugby & Test Match Referees (IRB), NSW Waratahs, Sydney City Roosters, Melbourne Storm, iCC and Australian Cricket Umpires, caddied on the Seniors PGA Tour and currently coaching on the European, USA PGA and LPGA Tours.

Most recently Warren has been credited by Brett Rumford for being pivotal in winning the Korean and China Opens in consecutive weeks, the first Australia to do so in 42 years, winning him $771,000 Euros in 10 days and raising him from 230 to 72 in the golf world rankings. He has also held a board position with the Manly Warringah Rugby League Football Club and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Over the last five years Warren has been engaged to profile and develop all Australian First Class cricketers, this sees him working with the WA, SA, VIC, TAS, NSW and QLD cricket teams through the Australian Cricketers Association.

He has conducted specialised performance improvement assignments with over 50 elite athletes, including four Australian Captains and worked with an Olympic Gold Medal winning Swimmer and the current Equestrian Australia Eventing Team. Warren is currently conducting research into the attributes of high performing individual and team based sport people.

Corporately Warren has worked directly with over 500 high performing executives and their teams, in over 60 blue chip companies over the past 19 years. He has held positions on Advisory Boards in the Medical, Banking and Finance industries and has published a range of articles in HR Monthly, Wall Street Journal, BRW, AIM Magazine, AFR, and the AGSM Magazine
