Elloise Devlin

Elloise Devlin is an 18-year-old, year 12 student from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Growing up with horses, horse riding has always been a passion of Elloise’s, progressing through pony club, to interschool, and for the past 6 years, open dressage competitions. In 2010, Elloise won her first state and national dressage titles at the interschool championships in Sydney, marking the beginning of a successful future to come. In 2013, Elloise moved onto her mother’s homebred 17.2hh gelding, Brimstone Anakiwa (aka Sam), who was broken in and trained by Sally (Devlin) up until Elloise took over the ride. The pair has progressed through the levels from Medium to now competing in the Under 25 Grand Prix. Elloise’s goal is to successfully compete in the open Grand Prix nationally and internationally, with the ultimate goal to compete at the World Equestrian Games and/or the Olympics. The pair will be competing at the Australian National Dressage Championships at the Sydney International Equestrian Center in mid-October, to compete in the U25 Big Tour Championships. Elloise will also be traveling to Europe at the end of the year to train and expand her knowledge of the training of dressage over several months.
