WICKED WHEATBELT CHALLENGE

Wheatbelt Endurance Riders Inc. (WERI) was formed in 2018, a not-for-profit association comprising of horse riders with a dedication to endurance riding.

Our members are from York, Merredin and Moora and this year we are hosting three rides in the wheatbelt: Talbot endurance ride on 6th July, Greenhills endurance ride on 3rd August and Merredin endurance ride on 17th August 2019. This year the Merredin Endurance Ride is an AERA affiliated ride as well as the Wheatbelt Wicked Challenge – CEI1* and CEI2*. This type of ride helps add to the qualifications that are required to compete internationally for Australia.

Our aim is to create horse-riding opportunities for all ages and abilities in the discipline of endurance, as well as to promote the health and social benefits of horse riding to the wider population.
