Briana Burgess and La Scala III join national dressage elite squad

National Dressage Selectors have advised that Briana Burgess and La Scala III have been included on the national elite squad for dressage.

As per the squad selection policy for dressage, in order to be considered for the elite squad, combinations should be achieving consistent average scores of 67% or above with an increasing trend at Grand Prix level at CDI3* & above, CDI-W’s and CDIO’s either in Australia or overseas.

Burgess and the 16 year old Rheinlander gelding have posted good results at recent outings scoring 68.10% at the Vidauban Grand Prix and 70.123% at the Roosendaal Grand Prix.

Burgess’ addition to the elite squad brings the number on the squad to 10.
