Emcee Apparel Dress our Jumping Riders for WEG

Janelle Miles, the mother of well-known NSW jumping rider Coco, has a strong heritage in clothing design in Australia having headed up the iconic Studibaker and Smith and Miles with her husband David for 30 years.

After selling the successful businesses 10 years ago, she now turns her expert hand and eye to Equestrian wear and 2 ½ half years ago started Emcee Apparel.

“Our clothing is all Australian designed by my daughter Coco who is a show jumper. She designs things and I put it together. It’s designed by a rider for riders,” said Janelle.

The Miles family’s passion is jumping and so they have decided to get behind our representative riders for the upcoming FEI World Equestrian Games by providing their kit at the event. This will include the breeches, shirts, ties, socks and jackets.

“It’s the whole look and it will be fantastic. We are delighted to be able to dress them and it will be nice to know they are looking the way they should be looking,” she said.

Janelle grew up on a cattle property in South East Queensland and has ridden all her life. Back then she was involved in campdrafting and showing and today she simply enjoys being part of the sport of Jumping with her children.

It will certainly be a very proud moment for the Miles’ when they see the Australian riders canter into the arena wearing their designs at the FEI World Equestrian Games in Tryon next month.
