EOI’s for FEI World Endurance Championship - Senior Riders Extended

In an update released to National Federations, the FEI Board has approved the following resolutions with regards to the FEI Endurance World Championship -Senior Riders scheduled for 22 May 2021 in Pisa (ITA) in consideration of the impact of EHV-1 in Europe  

The FEI has decided to: 

  • Extend the Nominations Entries Deadline from 9 April 2021 until 21 April 2021 (note the qualification dates have not changed and the deadline remains 5 April 2021). 
  • Increase the number of Nominated Entries for Horses and Athletes from 10 Athletes and 14 Horses to 15 Athletes and 15 Horses (i.e. 15 combinations). This condition is a modification of the FEI General Regulations (Article 116.2.2(i)) hence it shall be considered as an Emergency Board Resolution.

Following this FEI update, Equestrian Australia has also extended the closing date for Expressions of Interest from Riders and a Chef d’Equipe wishing to represent Australia at the FEI World Endurance Championships.

The EOI deadline is now Monday 5th April, 2021. 

Applicants must complete a nomination form, found below, for themselves and their intended horse/s and forward along with proof of results via email to Dianne Saunders, High Performance Sports Manager at [email protected]
