FEI Renewal Registrations for 2022 Are NOW OPEN

With the 2022 competition fast approaching, Equestrian Australia is now opening FEI Athlete and Horse Registrations for the 2022 Calendar Year.

FEI Athlete and Horse Registrations are MANDATORY under FEI rules and must be renewed before entering your first FEI Competition each calendar year (the FEI season runs from 1 January – 31 December).

Please Note: all registrations expire on the 31st December each year regardless of when athlete or horse has been registered.

All new horse registrations that require an EA National or FEI Passport should allow a three-week timeframe from ordering to completion. This timeframe will involve receiving the passport, getting it filled in and sent back to EA for validation and returned to you. For EA to process your 2021 FEI Registration, please fill in the online form available HERE.

If you have any questions please contact [email protected].

Modifications to the FEI Veterinary Regulations, applicable to all FEI disciplines, were passed at the recent FEI General Assembly and will become effective globally

Of particular note are changes relating to the recording of a Horse's temperature both before and during competition.

  1. All Persons Responsible will be required to ensure an FEI Equine Health Self-Certification Form has been completed in the FEI HORSE APP (downloadable on iPhone and Android) for each horse entering the Stable Area and that the Horse’s Rectal Temperature has been recorded in the FEI Horse App 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE HORSE’S ARRIVAL AT THE FEI EVENT.

  2. Whilst Horses are present on the Event Venue, their Rectal Temperature must be taken AT LEAST twice daily and recorded using the FEI Horse App

Sanctions will be administered by the FEI for failure to comply with the FEI Veterinary Regulations.
