Horse Traceability Feedback Survey

The National Horse Traceability Working Group (NHTWG) is a committee formed in late 2020 by the Agriculture Ministers’ Forum and the Australasian Racing Ministers’ Conference to provide advice on matters relating to the design and introduction of a traceability system for horses, donkeys and mules in Australia.

You’re invited to complete a survey to obtain a clearer picture of the information already being collected and maintained by horse-related organisations and businesses. Responses will assist the NHTWG in determining how best to use, and build on, existing databases and registers.

Your feedback will only be used for continuous improvement purposes. The survey is voluntary and any personal information you provide will be kept confidential.

For your information, please also find link to an independent report, undertaken by Marsden Jacobs and commissioned by the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) to assess focusing on the potential role of a horse traceability system in the context of biosecurity.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

Click this link to access the survey. If appropriate please engage with other State/territory sub organisations, affiliations, registered members etc.

The survey will close at 5pm on Monday 7 February 2022.

Should you have any further questions with regards to this survey, please contact [email protected].
