Paralympian Emma Booth Named the New Para-Equestrian Riders' Representative

Equestrian Australia would like to congratulate Paralympian Emma Booth on being named the new Para-Equestrian National Riders' Representative.

The Riders’ Representative term is for two (2) years and the position was decided by an online vote, where Emma was selected by her peers for the role.

Emma and her horse Mogelvangs Zidane made Paralympic history last year when they becuase the first ever Australian horse/rider combination to compete in two Paralympic Games.

The Riders’ Representative is responsible for liaising with riders to canvas their views in relation to High Performance functions, and various other matters impacting the sport, and reporting back to the EA High Performance Para-Equestrian staff as appropriate. 

"I am very excited to take on this role and assist the sport of Para Dressage in Australia to be the best it possibly can," said Emma of her appointment.
