Beale wins Tekna Young Rider Selection Series

Sarah Beale of New South Wales has taken out the 2012 Tekna Young Rider Selection Series.

The 19 year old from Sydney’s Northern Beaches was the only rider to complete two competitions without incurring any penalties.

To be eligible for the series title, riders had to contest a minimum of two events. Close to 50 riders met this criteria and a further 50 riders took part in one event.

In an effort to standardise the competition, riders contested the same course which in 2012 was designed by FEI level II course designer Gavin Chester.

The Tekna Young Rider Series provides up and coming talent with the opportunity to gain valuable competition experience.
