When are you from in Australia?

Yorke Penisula, South Australia

What is one of your most memorable competition successes/career highlights to date?

My Tokyo qualification in Samarin last year, clear and ranked in a 4* GP with my mare. Previously 5* winnings with an old GP horse, Bella Baloubet and representing Australia in WEG in Caen, Normandy.

What are you most looking forward to about competing at Deeridge?

Jumping in a nations cup team is something else, the pressure and excitement to do well for your team mates, it’s exciting and nerve-wracking, I love it!

Have you had any influential riders/trainers or role models throughout your career?

Julie Ulrich is my current trainer, she’s an American based in Normadny too. She’s seriously tough but fair and sooo much experience with all types of horses, her knowledge is endless and she’s an invaluable part of my team.

I’ve always admired Katharina Offel, is a big role model for me.

What is your favourite motto/saying/training philosophy?

It’s all about the preparation. If your basics are solid, your horse is well prepared for his task and everything is managed well, just go in the ring and do your best for that day.

Which horse will you ride in the Nations Cup?

Coleraine des Bergeries.  A really sweet 12 year old mare that I’ve ridden since she was 9 and brought up to GP level.

What is your horse's personality like?

She loves bananas and a good cuddle!
