2015 ADC Performance Medal Presentation

The Australian Dressage Committee’s (ADC) performance medal presentation at the Saddleworld Australian Dressage Championships has becoming an annual tradition and this year’s presentation saw 16 horses receive the prestigious gold medal.

The ADC medals recognise outstanding performances and are awarded to horse/rider combinations which obtain the required results during the qualifying period. (Information on qualification available HERE).

The presentations were held prior to the start of the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W with ADC member Roger Fitzhardinge awarding the medals to the riders.

“It’s a tremendous achievement to score over 70 percent let alone three times in a year,” said Fitzhardinge. “A few years ago we may have had one or two horses that were able to do that.

“When we see so many horses scoring over 70 percent it really puts our sport in a great place for the future.

“On behalf of the ADC and everyone here I’d like to congratulate the riders on this achievement.”
