2025 Australian Dressage Performance Gold Medals

The Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee is once again supporting a special Gold Medal System to recognise outstanding performances throughout the year. Gold medals have been distributed every year since 2010.

2025 Australian Dressage Performance Gold Medals will be awarded to horse or pony/rider combinations who obtain the following in the qualifying period as stated below.

Gold Medals (Does not include Freestyles):

  • Novice or Elementary performances - of 73% or more at each level (e.g. 3 Novice or 3 Elementary)
  • Medium or Advanced or Junior level performances - of 71% or more at each level (e.g. 3 Medium or 3 Advanced, or 3 Junior)
  • Prix St Georges or Intermediate I (small tour) or Young Rider - 3 performances of 71% or more across the small tour
  • Intermediate A&B (medium tour) – 3 performances of 70% or more across the medium tour (2)
  • Intermediate II or Grand Prix (big tour) including U25 Grand Prix - 3 performances of 70% or more across the big tour

Conditions:

  • The qualifying period is now a two (2) year period from 3rd September 2023 up to and including 3rd September 2025 (the closing date of entries for the 2025 Australian Dressage Championships).
  • Competitors may only receive one (1) medal at each level.
  • Only Australian riders are eligible.
  • Riders must be current financial members of Equestrian Australia to be eligible.
  • Performance results considered can only be gained from the listed eligible events below.
  • Official Competitive overall scores only will be eligible (not individual judges scores).
  • HC, Freestyle and Young Horse results are not eligible.
  • Recipients will be determined via results obtained and reviewed by the EADC.
  • Performance medals will be presented at the 2025 Australian Dressage Championships on a day and time to be determined.

Eligible Events:

  • Official Competitive Dressage competitions
  • State Dressage Championships
  • The Australian Dressage Championships
  • CDI Events

Competitors are to provide three (3) results one of which must be from a State Dressage Championship, Australian Dressage Championships, or a CDI Event.

Only applications received on the 2025 Australian Dressage Performance Gold Medal Nomination Online Form: https://form.jotform.com/252084182140044, meeting the performances required and received by the closing date will be eligible for Performance Gold Medals.
