Well-known Grand Prix rider Matthew Dowsley left Australia today, taking Mrs. Claudia Harper's horse Cinderella to the stables of Ulla Salzgeber in snow-covered Bavaria. Last Sunday, a large number of well-wishers attended a farewell party at Matthew's riding establishment at Maroota north-west of Sydney.

Matthew will continue his trainig with Ulla and compete Cinderella at two German national shows and a CDI 3-Star in Stadl Paura in neighbouring Austria.  The event is the country's only Dressage event of that level in 2006.  Particiapation in European shows is part of Matthew's preparation for the World Equestrian Games. We very much appreciate the support that Mrs. Claudia Harper is providing.

Lyndal Oatley and Kate Taylor-Wheat, seen here with Matthew at his farewell party, will also be taking their horses to Europe, but after the Sydney CDI 3-Star in early May.

We wish all our competitors great success!
