Equestrian Australia Athlete Appointed Director and Appointed Director EOIs
Equestrian Australia (EA) is now calling for nominations for the Athlete Athlete Appointed Director and Appointed Director positions on the EA Board.
Athlete Appointed Director EOI: Closing Date extended to 26 March 2024
The Athlete Director sits for a term of three years and as well as filling the requirements of a general director, represents the views of and advocates for members and equestrian athletes across all disciplines.
To be considered for the position of Athlete Director nominees must bring relevant experience as a current or past competitor at national or international level and should have an understanding of the equestrian sporting landscape from novice/junior level through to the elite level. Importantly the Athlete Director sits on the EA High Performance Committee and plays an integral role in the HP program.
Previous governance experience will be looked upon favourably.

Equestrian Australia (EA) also calls for nominations from suitably qualified individuals for an Appointed Director position.
The Appointed Director position is a skills-based appointment, and the Board is particularly seeking individuals with IT and digital transformation experience as well as commercial and governance exposure.
