Olympic Gold Medalist To Teach One-of-a-Kind MasterClass at Willinga Park’s Dressage by the Sea

Learn from the world’s best and then watch Australia’s best compete.

Dorothee Schneider, a member of the Gold Medal winning team at Tryon, Olympic Gold Medal winning team at Rio, the Olympic Silver Medal winning team at London, and Team Gold at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017, will be teaching her first Australian MasterClass at Willinga Park in Bawley Point, NSW during the upcoming CDI 4* competition, Dressage by the Sea.

Schneider, an elite performer who nearly joined the elusive ‘90 Club,’ just a few weeks ago, with an 89.6 score at the recent Aachen CDIO5* Grand Prix Freestyle, has been competing on the world stage for more than a decade. She is considered one of the world’s leading trainers.

Her four-hour MasterClass will be held at Willinga Park’s Indoor Arena and will take riders of all levels through various skills and techniques. A 30-minute signing session will also be held after the MasterClass.

Dressage by the Sea 2020, is a unique competition, forum and elite Dressage experience situated just a few kilometres from one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.

“This is a rare opportunity for Dressage riders and Dressage fans to fully immerse themselves in nine days of world-class dressage and mingle with some of the best riders in the world,” says Terry Snow.

Guests at Dressage by the Sea have the opportunity to watch Australia’s elite Dressage riders compete, then learn up-to-date techniques and tips from Dorothee, or join just for the MasterClass.

Dressage by the Sea 2020 begins with competition on 22-24 February and continues with the FEI Regional Dressage Forum on 25-27 February.

Dorothee’s MasterClass will cap off events on 27 February and will be followed by Dinner with the Stars on 28 February.

Finally, CDI3*competition will begin again on 28 February – 1 March.

Forum delegates have a ticket included, and Dorothee’s MasterClass will also be separately ticketed to the general public for $150.
